Byron Huang holds an MBA from the University of Leeds (UK) and a DBA from Toulouse Business School (France). He is an inventor, engineer, and product manager dedicated to advancing next-generation materials and intelligent technologies.
2011
Invented the world's first flexible heating film, laying the technological foundation for the development of advanced heating materials and precision heating technologies.
2015
Developed the world's first precision temperature-controlled outdoor heated garment. The product was successfully funded on Kickstarter in the United States, bringing flexible heating technology from the laboratory into the consumer market.
2016
Won the National Gold Award and ranked first nationwide at the China Youth Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition.
Invented the world's first heated menstrual relief belt and founded Guangdong Flexwarm Advanced Materials & Technology Co., Ltd. During the same year, established the company's core technology platform built upon Thick-Film Precision Heating Technology, High-Precision Sensing Technology, and Nano Steam Technology, accelerating the commercialization of advanced materials.
2017
Received the national honor of Outstanding Young Role Model for Integrity and Positive Values.
2018
Invented the world's first Nano Steam System and the world's first heated scarf.
Invited to speak at the TED event themed "Manufacturing in the Greater Bay Area," sharing insights on manufacturing innovation and technology entrepreneurship. Selected as one of the Top 100 New Craftsmen.
2019
Introduced the IMM (Inventor, Market, Manufacturer) Model and delivered a TEDx presentation advocating that innovation should empower anyone with a vision to create products that improve the world.
Also proposed the philosophy of "Technology Creates a More Equal World," promoting an innovation ecosystem that integrates invention, market demand, and manufacturing into a complete pathway from ideas to commercialization.

Appointed External Master's Supervisor at South China University of Technology, contributing to university-industry collaboration and talent development.

Led the development of a tactile sensing technology, with the related research published in a journal within the Nature Portfolio.

Invented the AI Contactless Vital Signs Monitoring System and has continued to advance the technology, extending its applications from consumer electronics to healthcare.
